What is required for preoperative preparation for Rhinoplasty?
- Routine blood test, Preanaesthesia check up.
- CT face if breathing difficulty
- Stop smoking and medication which cause bleeding i.e. aspirin, herbal medicines.
What is postop protocol and how is recovery?
During postoperative period a splint and/or packing will be placed to support and protect the new structures during initial healing.
Swelling may be coming and going and more during morning hours for few months following rhinoplasty surgery.
When will Rhinoplasty results appreciated?
While initial swelling subsides in a few weeks, gradually you may be able to appreciate changes of your nose but final outcome may take up to a year for new nasal contour to fully refine. The results of rhinoplasty surgery will be long-lasting.
