Dr. Sushil Nahar is working as a Chief of Plastic, Aesthetic, Hand and Reconstructive microsurgery at Goyal Hospital & Research Centre, Jodhpur. After completing his Plastic Surgery training from SMS medical college, Jaipur, he acted as an observer in Aesthetic Surgery and hair transplantation under one of the eminent Plastic surgeon in country Dr. Manoj Khanna at Kolkata. Further he pursued Brig.Kathpalia Fellowship in Hand Surgery, awarded by APSI which was conducted & done under guidance of Dr. S.Rajasabapathy at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. With his extensive experience under eminent professionals he continued to procure expertise in varied domains. He undertook Vasudhan Arjin Advanced Fellowship in Aesthetic surgery and Cosmetic Laser Surgery at, Mumbai followed by R G Saraiya International fellowship in Plastic Surgery pursued at St. Andrews Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery, Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, United Kingdom under esteemed supervision of Mr Venkat Ramakrishnan and Mr Niri Niranjan for refinement in Breast surgeries, Reconstructive Microsurgery and Hand surgery.

Later He Pursued IX IPRAS Fund International Traveling Fellowship, to learn finer aspects of facial plastic surgery under supervision of world leader of facial plastic surgery Dr. Woffles Wu, Singapore. His consistent indulgence with the upcoming advanced technologies and its implementation has enabled him to possess an extreme expertise in the respective field.

From 2010 to 2014 he was consultant in department of plastic surgery of Sparsh Hospital, and a key member of Breast Oncology Team & Liver Transplant Team, at Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center, Narayana Health city, Bangalore.

He is active member of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery and Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, ISSH. He has presented his work in many national and international level meetings as speaker. He also has few publications to his credit.

For his article “Free Boomerang-shaped Extended Rectus Abdominis Myocutaneous flap: The longest possible skin/myocutaneous free flap for soft tissue reconstruction of extremities”, Association of Plastic surgeon of India felicitated him with Dr.R.N Sinha Publication award for best paper published in Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery.

In 2015 he was Honored Marwar Healthcare Achievers Award as the best plastic surgeon in Jodhpur by Times Of India.

Presently he is chief of Plastic, Aesthetic, Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery services at Goyal Hospital and Research Centre, Jodhpur & Director Of Sparsh N Contour Clinic. His field of interest in plastic surgery is Reconstructive Microsurgery, Aesthetic (cosmetic)Surgery, Hand & Craino-Maxillofacial Surgery.
