    What is breast lift surgery/ Mastopexy?

    The Breast lift surgery is to reshape and support the new breast contour by raising breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue and to rejuvenate your figure and give breast profile more youthful and uplifted. Sometimes enlarged areola can also be reduced additionally.

    What is done in Breast lift surgery?

    • The breast tissue is lifted and reshaped to improve breast contour and firmness.
    • The nipple and areola are repositioned to a more youthful height to look natural.
    • To compensate for a loss of elasticity, excess breast skin is removed.
    • Enlarged areolas are also reduced by excising skin at the perimeter.

    Usually Mastopexy approach through either of three pattern commonly:

    • Around the areola
    • Around the areola and vertically down from the areola to the breast crease
    • Around the areola, vertically down from the breast crease and horizontally along the breast crease

    What is post operative protocol and how’s recovery?

    • Medications to reduce the chances of infection and to aid healing.
    • You need a support bra to support  breasts during healing and minimize swelling.

     When results are appreciated?

    The results of Breast lift are immediately visible but final results appear over the next few months time when post-surgical swelling resolves. Although surgical marks are permanent but will continue to fade over time.
